Primo screen Core i7 920 D0

XtremeSystems user PcCI2iminal has just posted some first overclocking results of the recently launched Core i7 920 D0 stepping 5 processor. Although his results were taken with an engineering sample CPU, they seem to be on par if not slightly better than what is achievable with the C0 stepping.



According to the results, 4,641MHz was achievable with a vCore of 1.56v and a 221MHz BClock speed. It can also be noted that the maximum Prime95 stable BClock at boot up was 222MHz with CPU VTT, PLL, and northbridge voltages at a minimum.

The setup used was a Biostar TPower X58 running beta BIOS 080015, combined with A-Data 1600MHz DDR3 and a Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme-1366 RT for cooling.

bhè sinceramente non concordo contè , questo D0 e' un Fenomeno il Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme a aria, cioe' ci rendiamo conto a aria ha raggiunto queste frequenze , secondo me' e' semplicemente un MOSTRO, io spero che sia questa la sua reale fattezza e' non che ci troviamo davanti a una CPU unpo' troppo fortunata.

Aspetta ho visto una cosa... cavolo ma ha tutti e 8 i thread ATTIVI A QUELLA FREQUENZA???? ma Porca Puzzolaaaaaaaaaaaaaa impensabile con lo step C0 ummmm secondo me' qui' gatta ci cova... non ci credo che riesca a ARIA a mantenere quella frequenza e avere anche i 4 core virtuali attivi ........:idiot2: non vorrei che quella CPU e' Davvero un Sample Unico e RARO oppure.. non era a ARIA.
Io sono impazziente di provarlo ma temo che rimarro' Deluso.... l'attuale CPU che ho in dotazione e' davvero buona come si vede anche in firma , mi ha dato risultati ottimi a temperature normali .
