La nuova GPU ATI, che dovrebbe essere prodotta col nuovo processo produttivo a 40nm

Riporto quanto detto da VrZone oggi :

AMD is slated to launch the Radeon HD 4890 card based on the RV790 core in April not the rumored Radeon HD 4970. The RV790XT A11 sample is running at 850Mhz core at 1.3V and 975Mhz GDDR5 memory.
In comparision, a Radeon HD 4870 (RV770) card runs at 750MHz core and 900MHz GDDR5 memory. AMD told their partners that RV790 is expected to be around 20% faster than the current Radeon HD 4870 RV770 card and will compete headon against the GeForce 285 GTX card. The pricing? Between US$199 to US$249.

Comunque io sono un mercenario,per cui tutto è possibile,nel muletto c'ho una X1950GT che è ATI,quindi possibilissimo ce ne prenda anche una di fascia alta...vedremo...

Ora ho solo la 1950...dovrei prendere una schedina per l'altro PC,ma sono incasinatissimo con la scuola,e quando ho finito di studiare esco,sennò divento scemo!:bastardinside:

Non è detto non si sa ancora un tubo sul processo pruduttivo ....... e ho specificato che "dovrebbe" essere a 40nm

Da VR-Zone:

"VR-Zone learns that AMD is planning to launch two new mainstream cards based on 40nm RV740 in May, a month after releasing the high end 55nm RV790 cards."

Anche nelle precedenti dichiarazioni non si era mai parlato di RV790 come una GPU a 40nm, la prima a 40nm dovrebbe essere la RV740.
